- Over a third of our service technicians have completed OSHA 30-hour training
- All service technicians must complete OSHA 10-hour training
- Service technicians are certified in Red Cross First Aid and CPR
- Service technicians participate quarterly in the following OSHA training: Blood-borne Pathogens, Electrical Safety for Construction, NFPA 70E, Fall Protection for Construction, Ladders and Stairs, Control of Hazardous Energy (LOTO), PPE, HAZCOM 2012, Defensive Driving, and Compressed Gases
- All service technicians have Fork Lift, Aerial Lift, and Scissor Lift Certifications
- Our Safety Program has passed muster with some of the most safety-conscious companies and contractors in the world, as well as organizations like ISNetworld®, BROWZ™, and Avetta (formerly PICS Auditing)
- Prior to employment, all employees are subjected to background checks
- Service Technician Safety & Training documentation is available upon request
Safety history
- 2000: Substance Abuse and Drug Testing Policy put into place
- 2006: Our Safety Committee is certified by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Labor and Industry, Bureau of Workman’s Compensation
- 2007: The use of JJ Keller Online is implemented for safety training and record keeping
- 2012: 1/3 of our Service Technicians complete OSHA 30-hour training
- Our Safety Director has over 20 years of health and safety experience and has been authorized in:
- OSHA 510 – Occupational Safety and Health Standards for the Construction Industry
- OSHA 500 – Trainer Course in Occupation Safety and Health Standards for the Construction Industry
- OSHA 502 – Update for Construction Outreach Trainers
