Stokes Equipment Company is a distributor of loading Dock equipment, located in Horsham, Pennsylvania. We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our service team. This position would report directly to the Service Manager and would be involved in many aspects of the company.

Primary Responsibilities:
Seeking individual to coordinate district installation activities to ensure customer expectations are exceeded on assigned projects. This position would require working with our sales team to provide labor estimates and scheduling assistance. This position coordinates and performs job site checks as needed and is responsible for assuring that all product is properly applied and are installed according to specifications. Attends project startup meetings, ensuring good communication with all parties and fostering good relationships with customers, contractors, and other parties on the job. Works with Service Manager and Safety Coordinator, support a safe and healthy workplace for Stokes Equipment employees and subcontractors. This includes modelling safe behaviors and safety policies, supporting safety training programs, conducting safety audits of Technicians and subcontractors, and monitoring safety on job sites.

Qualifications:
At least 2 years of experience in project management or estimating.
Must be a proven self-starter and be able to work independently
Attention to detail is a must
Willingness to learn and to be a team player as well.
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office is a plus.
Strong communication skills

Stokes Equipment is a distributor and service provider of loading dock equipment, industrial doors and hydraulic lift equipment covering the Greater Philadelphia Area. We are a third generation, family owned business that has been in operation since 1944. We are looking for a service technician to join our team and help maintain and expand our business throughout the tri-state area.
This position is responsible for installing, inspecting, servicing/repairing equipment in the field while promoting and maintaining and image consistent with Stokes’ philosophy towards professionalism, safety, and customer service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Perform installation, inspection, service and repair of equipment in the field in an expeditious manner while assuring the customer’s needs are met and exceeded. This is mainly accomplished individually but may sometimes be accomplished in small teams.

As skills and knowledge develop, guide other Service Technicians with less skills/knowledge through complex problems in the field. This may include training other Service Technicians in the proper field installation, service and repair of equipment and proper administrative procedures instilling Stokes’ commitment to customer service.

Using the handheld devices (or paper backup forms if needed) accurately complete all necessary paperwork associated with field service, repair and installation including service tickets, time sheets, open job tracking form and safety analysis sheets.

This position requires the operation of a service vehicle in compliance with DOT Driver Qualification standards, as well as truck-based cranes, forklifts, welders, torches, and power and hand tools.

Follow all company and customer safety requirements and all customer-specific requirements, policies, and directions on their work sites.

Work closely with all other departments in the company, communicating and coordinating activities to efficiently maximize customer satisfaction.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Timely and proper inspection, repair, maintenance and installation of customer equipment in a manner that exceeds customer expectations and that is consistent with the Stokes image as the industry leader in customer service.

Develop and maintain good customer relations in a manner that exemplifies the Stokes image and commitment to customer service.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to five years of experience in repair and service of hydraulic, mechanical and electrical equipment as well as successful completion of the Rite-Hite service training programs in a timely manner.

CERTIFICATES/LICENSES/REGISTRATIONS:
Service Technicians must have a valid driver’s license and passing DOT medical exam and applicable driver qualification standards at all times. Employee must be able to pass a drug test upon being hired and be subject to random quarterly DOT drug tests.

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, blueprints & schematics, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
